University of Okoboji Winter Games is a must-attend event in the Iowa Great Lakes. This year in particular because of the perfect weather all weekend.

This shot was taken during the Polar Plunge where participants jump into the freezing water of Lake Okoboji. In the background is the Okoboji Winter Games Kite Festival. These kite enthusiasts travel from around the globe to watch and fly in this beautiful aerial showcase.
